We've heard by now that living in the moment can be a good thing, but let's face it, most of us are not quite there yet. We're definitely on our way, but I feel there's still something rather familiar (and many lessons that we can learn) from being flawed, human and not-in-the-moment. Especially with Mercury going retrograde (currently in Gemini) since June 7th - until July 1st, we may have been contemplating about the past and the future in our mind. Some may even feel sad about the past, or feel a little fearful of the future, but that really shouldn't stop us from moving on anyway. In fact, they can be wonderful tools to empower + help propel us forward into the future of our dreams! Now that sounds promising! (ノ^_^)ノ
Along with the Retrograde Mercury in Gemini, we currently also have planet Venus in the same sign. With Venus here, many can find more enjoyable time to read stories about love, perhaps listen to some lovely love songs, thinking about love, or talking about it with their friends and loved ones. Most can finally discover more opportunities to express their heart and mind in more harmonious and effective ways.
Speaking of the upcoming New Moon in Cancer, one word that comes to mind is dreamy. Not only will the Sun and the Moon come together closely in the sign of protective and caring Cancer, but they will make a positive trine aspect to dreamy Neptune – which has been in a fellow water sign of Pisces. So in this New Moon, it can be another great time for us to ask our self; how can we be more optimistic and positive in the midst of our different emotions? How can we be more nurturing to our body, and to our feelings? To our family, and friends? To our work, and colleagues? To our goals and dreams? Let's not forget that we still have Jupiter here in late degrees of Cancer (which is about to move to Leo next month) still making a trine aspect to Saturn. So we still have ample time to attract and manifest our goals and dreams - as long as we're still happy to do our part in making them come true! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
Interestingly, it can be quite easy too for some of us to get a little emotional during this New Moon. But it can also remind us of ways in which we can be extra nurturing to our own emotions and feelings - while at the same time understand the emotions and feelings of others in our world.
In the end, the New Moon is always a great time to plant new seeds, to nurture them and to work on them until the next Full Moon - which will happen in the constellation of Capricorn on July 12th. A time when we can see a new turning point in our life, and reap the rewards of our efforts since the powerful Capricorn New Moon back on January 1st!
