Full Moon in Scorpio | Seeing Your Imperfect Truths

● | ● | ● | ●

 April 22nd, 2016‬

Full Moon in Scorpio: You have within you enough love to supply you
with a lifetime of mental, emotional and spiritual security.

How can we make peace with our brokenness?

How can we accept our pains and sorrows?

Can we really see the wisdom in our disappointments?

Accepting our brokenness is not about giving up our wholeness. Making peace with our brokenness is about seeing our flaws, pains and disappointments as lessons that we are trying to master in this life. So rather than feeling overwhelmed by things that seem to be beyond our control, we can ask ourselves some life questions.

What is he or she trying to teach me about who I really am? What am I supposed to learn from that awful experience? How can I come out of this negative situation stronger, wiser and more aware than I've ever been before?

Questions that are asking us to evolve beyond our old selves is what growing is all about. They are not about distracting ourselves from the so-called real issues. They are about seeing those issues for what they truly are. And from there, finding a way to heal ourselves piece by piece, step by step, day by day.

The same goes with accepting our imperfect truths. Often, in our quest to find perfection, we miss the wisdom in the imperfection. We feel that if only our parents, siblings, friends or lovers could be perfect, then our life will be happier. Many of us believe that if we were just surrounded by enough perfection, then our lives will be easier. Well, although that may seem like a great life in theory, true growth cannot be found when life is easy all the time.

Pain can be healing when we are no longer afraid of it. It is essentially about letting go of outdated, counter-productive beliefs we have about pain and seeing imperfections as part of our sacred lessons. Like a butterfly breaking from its cocoon, and a phoenix rising from the ashes, we can break free from the shell of our old selves by recognizing the wisdom in our painful experiences. True healing comes from transforming those imperfect experiences into opportunities for growth, expansion and self-evolution.

Happy Full Moon! The Moon is in Scorpio opposite the Sun and Mercury in Taurus, marking a deeply intellectual and enlightening Full Moon in the sign of the Scorpion. The Eagle and the Phoenix also represent this sign because the Scorpio energy is all about determination and transformation.

With Scorpio's ancient and modern ruling planets, Mars and Pluto, currently in their retrograde phase, their usually outward energies go inward. What we couldn't understand before, can be understood more deeply now with deeper mental exploration. Understanding, not through assumptions, but through real experiences and manifestations can be possible at this time. Who we were is now transformed and we evolve as we accept ourselves with more love and compassion.

After all that we've been through, we can see more clearly who we are and who we are clearly not. What we are willing to work toward, and what no longer feels enriching to our life and well-being. This is no longer about how hard we work, but how smart we work. The Scorpio Full Moon shines a light into our world to bring about light into our awareness, illuminating us from the inside out. What do we need to release in order for us to see beyond life's imperfections? What do we need to embrace in order for us to truly own our personal power and fly higher?

The Moon is forming a trine to Neptune and Chiron, and healing comes from allowing fear to just be what it is. To not push fear away so that we can catch its wisdom and discover something new about ourselves. To know that to live life positively is to not see negativity as an enemy, but as our doorway toward personal growth where we can learn something new each day. It is our brokenness that can let the light in and it is through accepting those imperfect truths can we unlock the key to our heart's evolving wisdom.

With the Moon's sextile to Pluto Rx and Jupiter Rx, what we are seeking is seeking us. There is no need to struggle when a little extra focus is all it takes for us to reach a goal. Have we listened to the calling of our soul lately? Can we see what we need to let go within ourselves so that we can take our power back?

Perhaps we have given our power away to people whom we believe can make us happy, or whom we believe we need to keep happy. Or perhaps we have been afraid to be ourselves around a higher-up, a partner or a family member. Understand that being true to ourselves is not always about being over-the-top or different. It is more about being honest with ourselves without worrying that people will judge or leave us if we are authentic.

The Moon is also forming a quincunx to Uranus and Venus, and the way to self-love is through forgiveness. Forgiving our mind. Forgiving our heart. Forgiving our choices. Forgiveness in the end is about giving ourselves the permission to learn from our own mistakes, as well as to clear ourselves out from anything that's blocking us.

Instead of closing ourselves off from love out of fear of further pain, open our heart more to love out of our willingness to expand and grow. Instead of avoiding the depths of our personal darkness, become fascinated by the dark recesses of the human soul. Because only through darkness can we understand the meaning of light. And only through accepting our brokenness can we break the bondage of old patterns.

Embrace our imperfect truths, not to remind ourselves of life's imperfections, but to remind ourselves of our heart's capacity to transform our broken parts into nuggets of wisdom.

Moon in Sights | March 16th - April 11th, 2016

'Dustheads' by Jean-Michel Basquiat, 1982

● | ● | ● | ●

March 16th, 2016 | Moon in Cancer, trine Venus, Neptune, Mercury, Chiron and the Sun, oppose Pluto, sextile Jupiter Rx, square Uranus: Finding light after the storm. Knowing that the answers have truly been within us all along.

What can we see now that we couldn't see before? What lesson have we learnt from discovering more aspects of ourself? And how can we move forward with our new sense of self-awareness? We couldn't see what lies beneath the surface because we were in a different level of awareness. We couldn't understand why we feel the way we do because we were in a different state of mind.

Believe in our heart's healing by walking in faith and opening our mind more to what can be released from our life to find contentment. The more that we can let go of worry and trust in the universe's infinite wisdom, the faster our flow of inspiration will come to us. Instead of wasting our time or energy trying to guess how our story will unfold, devote our thoughts and actions to following the voice that is within us.

Hold positive visions and feelings of being emotionally wiser and mentally more aware. Affirm that this is our truth right now, and from there act on our inner guidance without hesitation. The Moon forming an opposition to Pluto is urging us to heal old ideas and beliefs we have about our self-worth and recognize our growing self-awareness as a sign of our soul's evolving wisdom.

March 18th, 2016 | Moon in Leo, trine Mars, Saturn and Uranus, quincunx Venus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron and Mercury: Rising from the ashes. Surfing the waves of life. Moving forward more awakened and more aware.

Sometimes change begins in the mind. A small alteration to our perception can have a big impact on how we feel about our relationships and how we see the world around us.

A revolution can also occur when we open our mind to the idea of walking a new path where we can feel more at one with our soul. Or the idea of entering a new phase where we can find the courage to move forward and explore aspects of ourself that have been keept on the back burner. Perhaps out of fear of our own personal power, or perhaps out of unconscious awareness of our own abilities, interests and values.

If we have been feeling stuck or blocked, now would be a great time to reawaken our creativity by engaging in creative pursuits. And it doesn't necessarily need to be seen or heard by others, because it's the act of creative expression that can be healing. If we have been feeling worried because we are going through many life changes, we can see them as an invitation to thrive even more in our own unique light.

By making conscious choices that are more in alignment with the highest and truest expression of ourself, we can begin to feel more in tuned with our most authentic voice. Knowing that resistance is part of the block that can be lifted through embracing more creative avenues of expression. So, welcome the new with releasing our grip, letting go of control and learning to trust the process of life to bring us to where we need to be.

March 21st, 2016 | Moon in Virgo, square Mars and Saturn, oppose Venus, Neptune, Chiron and Mercury, conjunct Jupiter Rx, trine Pluto: Pre-Full Moon Diary. The acknowledgment of the truth about ourself. The fear and anxiety coming back in to remind us of our true, untapped potentials. The understanding that the past has served its purpose and now we are ready to open a new chapter. A clean slate is on offer, provided that we are open to growing beyond our old beliefs and forging ahead with new faith.

Instead of letting disappointments cloud our judgments, use our sense of childlike wonder to build a bridge toward a new path. Instead of letting our need to control the future get in the way, see the present as a place where we can learn and discover something new about ourself.

As the Moon grows fuller, the time is right for us to make a change. Holding the intention that this change will bring us to where we need to be. Seeing that there is wisdom in selfless service towards the greater evolution of the collective. As the more that we can focus upon service, the less our ego will try to delay our own expansion and happiness.

Remember that each and every one of us has a unique and much-needed life purpose that awaits us. When we commit ourself to helping others through this purpose, the doors of opportunity and progress open wide.

If we find ourself feeling insecure or nervous, put our focus more on taking purposeful action. Because when we aspire to serve a purpose, that's when our purpose will begin to serve us. If we have been procrastinating our priorities and dreams, this is our time to believe in ourself again so that we can confidently move forward. To spread our wings and to go outside our comfort zone, realizing that there is within us the true potential to bloom, flourish and thrive.

March 23rd, 2016 | Full Moon in Libra, oppose Mercury, the Sun and Uranus, sextile Mars and Saturn, square Pluto: Be a reflection of the kind of love, truth and authenticity you want to experience. What can we truly see in our reflection? Can we find the correlation between our subconscious and our relationships? Can we spot the connection between how we are really feeling and what we have been experiencing?

One of the first steps that we can take to attract more authentic relationships is to take a closer look at ourself. To be honest with ourself so that we can be honest with others in our life. To learn about our values and strengths, so that we can also see the values and strengths in others.

Each one of us has different roles that we play in our relationships. The relationship that we have with our family members, friends, lover or spouse, colleagues or higher-ups, pets and so forth. This doesn’t mean that we have to lie to ourself in some way in order for those roles to function effectively. We can still be authentically ourself without jeopardizing those relationships’ dynamics. Provided that we act from a place of loving open-mindedness, not from a place of judgment and blame.

Owning our personal energy can provide a better understanding of the kind of energy we put out into our relationships. Recognizing our personal voice can also help in voicing our own needs and wants in those relationships. What kind of compromises are we willing to make? Or what kind of changes are we not ready (or will never be able) to make? This is not about trying to be more self-centered, because none of us wants to feel awfully selfish. This simply means that when we take care of ourself first, we can show up as a healthy, grounded and self-realized individual in the lives of others.

It is essentially about coming from a place of identity that belongs to us while expecting nothing less than the same from others. A place of being able to recognize our own reflection and to connect heart-to-heart and soul-to-soul. Read more on: http://bit.ly/recognizing-your-own-reflection

March 26th, 2016 | Moon in Scorpio, trine Neptune, Venus and Chiron, sextile Jupiter Rx and Pluto: Seeing through the pain. Discovering the wisdom in self-healing. Trusting that there is a larger purpose at play.

How can we cure a broken heart? How can we find the answer if we can't understand our questions fully? The answer to our soul's yearning. The answer to our heart's longing. The answer to our mind's stumbling blocks.

Allow ourself to receive soulful guidance by becoming a channel for divine inspiration. An open vessel for growth and evolution. A conduit for positive change.

Which road do we think will lead us to greater strength? Which path will ultimately be more painful to experience: being blinded by fears from the past or feeling inspired by the limitless possibilities of the future?

The answer lies in asking ourself: "What do I need to embody within me so that I can walk with faith, and know that I'm being guided each step of the way toward living my ultimate life purpose?"

March 28th, 2016 | Moon in Sagittarius, conjunct Mars and Saturn Rx, trine the Sun, Mercury and Uranus, square Neptune, Venus, Chiron and Jupiter Rx: Finding greater understanding in the power of mind-body-spirit connection. Uncovering deeper wisdom in the meaning of old, disempowering beliefs we have about our life.

There is healing in rising up to challenges. In showing up as a bigger, more empowered version of ourself. In realizing that we are no longer who we were, but who we aspire to be.

This is not about forgetting or ignoring our history, but more about moving forward with a renewed perspective. A perspective that comes from a higher level of awareness. A perspective that does not try to force happiness, but instead finds insight from the sadness, heartbreak and distress.

The Moon conjoining Mars and Saturn Rx brings to us a reminder to shift away from complaining that we are a victim of others who control us. As well as to shine a light upon our active decision to take more responsibility for ourself, our life and our happiness.

The concept of sef-responsibility may frighten some initially, as it seems to carry the weight of self-blame. Know that blame is a waste of time because it focuses on our past history rather than on the present.

As we keep living for today, we will trust our feelings more and see that the magic truly lies in using our time wisely in the present to create future moments where growth, healing and expansion multiply.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

March 31st, 2016 | Moon in Capricorn, square the Sun, Mercury and Uranus, sextile Neptune and Venus, trine Jupiter Rx, conjunct Pluto: Magick requires focus, because focus is a form of action, and action creates movement.

Where are we moving towards? Are we putting more focus upon positive potentials or negative potentials? Can we look back at the past and see where the lesson truly lies? Where the wisdom truly lies? Where the truth truly lies?

Perhaps we couldn't find the right words to explain how we were feeling? Or perhaps we simply just couldn't see beyond the pain?

The Capricorn Moon forming a sextile to Neptune and Venus brings to us a reminder to honor our internal leadership qualities. Being a good leader doesn't just mean being able to inspire others toward reaching a common goal. Being a good leader also means being able to inspire ourself to reach that higher purpose we have for our life. It is about trusting our heart's guidance as our life changes and evolves.

Even if we do not feel entirely prepared or qualified to stand in our leadership role, taking charge of the smaller decisions can help us gain momentum and confidence about the bigger decisions along our path.

Through releasing worries or anxiety about responsibilities, we can transform our fear into excitement about the new. Through letting go of the need to control situations we are concerned about, we can begin to replace stress with faith. This is no longer about who can get 'there' the fastest, this is about making sure that our effort is turning into an outcome, not just keeping us busy.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

April 2nd, 2016 | Moon in Aquarius, sextile Mars, Saturn Rx, the Sun, Uranus and Mercury: Greeting the new. Looking at our life from a different perspective. Knowing that the more we can be open to new ways of relating, the stronger and more fully we can heal old pain that has been creating emotional barriers.

How open are we to others' point of view? And how connected are we to our own point of view? Can we stand on our own without worrying about whether or not others will accept us?

Being authentically ourself doesn't mean that we have to disregard others' differing perspectives. Being genuinely ourself means that we can be strong enough to stand in our individuality while at the same time letting go of the need to control the actions and opinions of others.

We have been going through a mental metamorphosis where we learn more each day about who we are and who we are not. It is a sign of our growing awareness of our surroundings and the energies of others around us. Even though it can also leave us feeling energetically and spiritually drained.

Perhaps we need to surround ourself with higher-vibrating like-minded individuals where we can connect more deeply with our true essence. Perhaps we need to purify our thinking, ridding our mind of negativity and allowing more empowering thoughts to flow through us.

Simpy allow ourself to be guided by our power in the present to change old, outdated systems and to bring new life in different areas of our life. Let our mind be a conduit for positive change and start becoming a more conscious co-creator of our own reality.

April 4th, 2016 | Moon in Pisces, conjunct Neptune, Chiron and Venus, square Mars and Saturn Rx, oppose Jupiter Rx, sextile Pluto: Pre-New Moon Diary. Breaking away from old paradigms. Finding a way to break the mold. Praying for the healing of our soul, our heart and our relationships.

What does forgiveness really mean to us? Forgiveness can be hard when it feels as if we are condoning the offences of another person. When in truth, it can also be about forgiving ourselves for wanting an uncomfortable experience to be any different than it really is.

Forgiveness comes from within to help us open the door to a brand new beginning. To help us see that there is indeed a new way forward. A new way to be. A new way to see.

Forgiveness means honoring our soul by giving ourselves the freedom that we deserve. The freedom to grow. The freedom to evolve. The freedom to break the chains of mental and emotional slavery.

There is a new beginning just around the corner. A New Moon happening in the sign of Aries. But first we need to make the space for it. By sweeping away remnants of our old patterns. By letting go as a way of bringing about new resolutions.

After all, wouldn't it feel good to detach and be at peace? Especially with the promise of embodying a more tranquil mind and body.

Letting go is not about ignoring the reality of our situation. Letting go is more about giving ourselves the room to breathe new life into our old, weary spirit as well as to keep us on our path toward achieving genuine personal understanding and enlightenment.

April 7th, 2016 | New Moon in Aries, conjunct Venus, the Sun and Uranus, trine Mars and Saturn Rx, square Pluto: Be your own superhero by connecting with your soul-power. How can we save ourselves from ourselves? How can we stop ourselves from being a prisoner of our own mind? Can we rescue ourselves from the dangerous power of our negative thinking?

The benefits of positive thinking have been the subject of countless books, articles and seminars. Most of us know by now how positive thinking can have a positive impact on our mental and emotional well-being, as well as our relationships and life in general. But what does it really mean to think positively? Is it about having the ability to focus on the bright side of life? Is it about expecting positive results in every situation we encounter?

Well, yes, it can be about all those things. But thinking positively can also be about becoming aware of the things that can go wrong so that we can have a strategy to deal with them and push forward. Positive thinking is ultimately the art of not letting fear and negativity stop us or derail us from our tracks.

Can we shift our focus of attention from what didn't work out in the past to what can work out in the present? From who we were yesterday to who we are today? From what was to what is? We acted the way we did because of the knowledge and awareness that we had at the time. We thought and felt the way we did because of the understanding and the standards that we set for ourselves at the time.

Instead of becoming our own worst enemy by indulging in negative thinking, we can become our own superhero by not giving those negative thoughts any power. By becoming more vigilant over our thoughts and guarding our mind against disempowering thoughts. By rising from the ashes of past failures and continuing on our path because that is the only way we will get to where we want to go. We have it within us the capacity to become our own superhero by owning our personal power and moving forward, one positively empowering thought at a time. April 9th, 2016 | Moon in Taurus, conjunct Mercury, sextile Neptune and Chiron, trine Jupiter Rx and Pluto: "Life is like cultivating a garden. A beautiful and balanced life or garden does not happen without effort. An important step in garden maintenance is to cultivate the soil." -Mari-Anna Stålnacke

How is our dream weaving doing? How can we reconnect with our divine creative self? Can we cultivate the patience to go to that next level of creative evolution?

Untangling the knots and tangles of our daily life begins from within. There is, within us, a spiritual center where our wisdom dwells. Where our creativity dwells. Where our true purpose dwells.

Begin by preparing the soil in our mind where ideas and thoughts are planted. Affirm that we are ready to make a change because the past has served its purpose. Approach this change in small steps, so that we can walk with awareness each step of the way.

If we have been feeling a little spacey, confused or forgetful, the Moon in Taurus brings a reminder to ground our energy. A balance is needed between a focus on work, play and rest. Focus upon progress, even if it feels as if we are moving rather slowly. Listen closely. The answer lies in the present.

April 11th, 2016 | Moon in Gemini, oppose Mars and Saturn Rx, sextile Venus, Uranus and the Sun, square Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter Rx: Communicating with heart. Walking away from outdated, counterproductive beliefs we have about life. Realizing that love is indeed an important part of healing that medicine is missing.

How do we look beyond what's possible? How can we stretch our limits without over-extending ourselves? Sometimes, it's not about choosing one experience over another. Sometimes, it's about dividing our time so that we can gain more wisdom from each experience.

The Gemini Moon brings to us the awareness that life is more fun when we can learn from different people and situations. Different people bring out different aspects of our personality. Different situations bring different sources for learning, inspiration and growth.

There is healing in knowing that life is a process of becoming more authentically ourselves. A process of learning from disappointments and transforming them into strengths. A process of awakening our purpose so that we can develop a deeper sense of connection with our soul.

Our personal power lies in recognizing that each moment is another chance to let go of the old and welcome the new. To surrender, not because we are giving up, but because we are releasing the need to control. To trust that each word we choose after 'I am...' becomes an essence of who we are. Choose an empowering word. What would it be?

New Moon in Aries | Transforming Power

● | ● | ● | ●

‪ April 7th, 2016‬

New Moon in Aries: Be your own superhero
by connecting with your soul-power.

Happy New Moon! The Moon is joining Venus, the Sun and Uranus in Aries, marking an extra passionate and vibrant New Moon in the sign of the Ram. As we plant new seeds of hopes and dreams, we can recapture our drive and enthusiasm to bring them to fruition.

What do we wish to accomplish in the next two weeks? How can we expand our mind more to see beyond outdated beliefs we have about our life?

Sometimes, all it takes is for us to replace self-limiting thoughts with self-expanding ones to go to that next level. Sometimes, a little trust and faith is all it takes for us to make that giant leap forward. Because what the mind can conceive, can be transformed into action with some strategic imagination and planning.

With Uranian energy in the mix at the time of the New Moon, we are asked to get in touch with our personal sense of independence. We need not wait for another's permission to take charge of our destiny. We need not wait until we have all the right tools to begin that soulful journey because we can start by following our inner guidance.

Which path do we think will lead us to greater personal expansion? Even if we're unsure whether we are taking the right steps, making the decision to start will ultimately be more constructive than procrastinating.

The Moon is forming a trine to Mars and Saturn Rx, and we see that when there's a will, there's indeed a way. How willing are we to open our arms to success, as well as to expect and accept success? This aspect brings the realization to increase our standards, and to expect more for ourselves.

We don't need to settle to find happiness. We do need to believe in ourselves so that we can confidently move forward. To understand that in essence, we are powerful and nothing is holding our power back.

Even in the face of apparent struggles, we are making progress and gaining momentum. We have learnt a lot along our path and now our wisdom can help us make any necessary changes.

With the Moon's square to Pluto, we are guided to have more trust as we continue our metamorphosis. It is safe to admit the truth to ourselves, because by being honest with ourselves, we can move beyond the chains of mental illusions.

Pluto represents the naked truth. The truth that can transform us. The truth that can break us apart so that we can rebuild from the ground up, more solid and more evolved. The truth that brings us into alignment with our true, authentic self. Our core. Our soul.

Power of the spirit and fears of the ego are also Plutonian themes. Instead of trying to control or overpower others, understand that we cannot force others to see that what we feel is real. Instead of hiding from our true feelings, embrace them as our gateway toward emotional enlightenment.

The Aries New Moon brings to us a reminder that our feelings are trustworthy guides as we aspire to make life changes. Our soul-power arises from acknowledging our story — our triumphs and failures, our joys and sorrows, our light and darkness. They are part of what challenges us to stand in our power and to affirm that we are not our victim stories, we are our superhero stories.
